Define the next action
This is from Getting-Things-Done-David-Allen-2016 and is one of the more useful principles in the book. When processing your inbox. to do list or just looking at a task, ask yourself what is the next physical action you can take to move it forward. It might be writing a quick email to check where something is at or searching for answers on google.
It’s especially useful when you also follow-the-two-minute-rule.
